What do tattoos have to do with anything? And such a generalized statement calling them "uneducated thugs" could only come from an arrogant, backwoods honky who thinks too highly of himself.

That was when the NBA was actually exciting. When it was less about endorsements, tattoos, and fancy cars, and more about just playing the game with respect and integrity.

Where are the David Robinsons, Hakeems, and Drexlers of this new era? Even the games aren't exciting anymore. I still remember the Rockets' run to the championship, beating arkley and the Suns in game 7. Talk about fucking exciting.

Now we have a team full of no-names beating a team full of hired, aging mercenaries.

I love baseball and will always love baseball, but it's falling into the same rut. Where are the Bash Brothers (McGwire and Canseco) of today? Where are the Nolan Ryans and the new Clemens? I loved the MLB in the 80's. So much friggin' fun. There were no stupid fountains or trains or water slides in the stadiums. It was about the game, nothing else.

And instead of being wowed by someone even coming close to breaking a record, it's become a yearly thing. Though, I guess we shouldn't be surprised since some players (Bonds) are so fucking juiced up, if you poke him with a needle, he'll pop. The day it becomes a standard thing for baseball players to get tattoos and talk in ebonics is the day I quit watching.
