Are all Greeks this fucking slow??

I was being a smart ass... guess it didn't translate... and in regards to my interest in macho men, it would seem to me you've got that backwards. Who's country treats Manowar like kings? Not mine.

Germany, Poland, Italy, and above all themselves
Oh and you have a macho man in your avatar

What do tattoos have to do with anything? And such a generalized statement calling them "uneducated thugs" could only come from an arrogant, backwoods honky who thinks too highly of himself.
The tattoos are a mainstay in basketball now. It's become trendy among the crowd. I guess I'm just old school when it comes to sports, and since these are supposed to be role models for kids, I don't accept covering your body in ugly tattoos, talking like you've got a mouthful of shit, and wearing clothes looking like you're going out on a drive-by after the game.

Let me look up what kind of education Kobe Bryant and Allen Iverson have. Just second.

Is Houston considered backwoods?

Dude, don't even, you live up north in the Woodlands, which ain't Houston by a long shot, hell even the residents like to think of themselves above Houston....

So, you took two names out of the entire NBA to make your point? Pretty convenient if you ask me. And a huge portion of your posts always make mention of the word trendy.... you try so hard to be against whatever "trend" it is that you are up against at any given moment.

Getting back to Opeth, I don't think Steven Wilson has been the best thing to happen to them, but I still completely disagree with people who blame him for ruining the band, they were already heading towards a simplified sound. And this may be the result of me being more tolerant of recent Opeth than most here, but I love the production on BWP.

I love how you conveniently leave Greece out of your retort, when everyone here knows that they play multiple sold out nights in Greece....

And you're absolutely right, I have Manowar in my avatar. And your point is? Geez, where is Markgugs when you need him?

You are slow, no wonder the world only references your country for old architechture and classical writings. When's the last time Greece did anything of importance? Invent the Greek salad?

Anyhow, dude, The Woodlands is totally a part of Houston. Don't get it twisted. Houston is swallowing up everything in its path. The Woodlands are considered North Houston.

In a previous thread you equated The Woodlands as part of Houston. Which is it?

Besides, I've lived in Sugar Land, Houston, and The Woodlands.

Well I'd be here all day if I listed all of them.

I saw the US basketball asses referred to as the Dream Team a few days ago on NBC. I laughed when they lost to Puerto Rico, then I pooped myself (unrelated, I just had to go).

newer Opeth > older Opeth

And you are calling me slow? Ok. They didnt record anything from Greece for their two live albums. They chose many other countries, but not Greece. Is there any possibility that you now understood why i left Greece out? ... You are smart. And they havent been here since 1999.
The point of Manowar in your avatar is pointless, as was your first single point you made in this thread trying to be (unsuccesfully) a smart ass in order to "POWN ME" (the judo thing - and then the basketball thing).

When's the last time Greece did anything of importance?
Actually right now we are making the lifes of some American athletes more SAFE because they are not in the usa, but here, so they are away from a terrorist attack. I am sorry that my country is not important to the world (especially to the ones who need help) as your country is. Where is Markgugs when you need him?

I think if you read the quote, you can see that I said Houston was swallowing up everything in its path, including the Woodlands. I'm assuming that you were trying to argue that by living in Houston, you're not backwoods, but your part of Houston is considered to be by a large portion of Houstonians.

Hope that clarifies it for you.

So since I've lived in The Woodlands less than a year, and I lived in Houston (actual Houston city limits) for multiple years and have always worked within Houston, I'm considered backwoods.

A large portion of Houstonians are dumb, then. Also that large portion of Houstonians can quit coming to my backwoods area to watch concerts as well. We don't want any.

Either way, my current residence is immune from the Houston Annexation Machine, so fuckoff nowadays Houston.

Also fuckoff nowadays NBA and fuckoff nowdays Opeth.

Why don't you make me you condescending prick.
What? You sound like Bill Cosby with that bullshit. Your rational would blame music for societal problems. So rap music is what's wrong with the NBA and youth? Does this sort of thinking sound familiar to anyone who's been a metalhead long enough to remember the PMRC and the congressional hearings in the 80s?

Please, I listen to hip-hop, gangsta rap and I'm not a thug.
