Not many albums manage to make me sit here in awe with my mouth open. But I just listened to Watershed all the way through, it did.

Epic game. :notworthy

You don't even like Opeth
I like SOME of their shit when I'm in the mood for slow music. A lot of it is really boring imo though, although I like their 12-20 minute instrumentals.

You will be let down. It's not even close to some of their better albums (IMO) and if you don't already like Opeth, well... jump off a cliff, I dunno

 Yeah I'll kill myself because I am not into a vocally mediocre band.

Hm, I'm two songs in... the second track, Heir isn't too bad, but the first one Coil sucked so I am already in the process of preparing one large stool for express post to Britain.

I calls 'em likes I sees 'em.

Lotus Eaters and Porcelian Heart are my favourites.

The Lotus Eater was ok, nothing special it had it's moments... and Burden was *SNOOOOORE*... so, I'm on Porcelain heart now... I hate the noise of the strings on the acoustic every 5 seconds... fuuuuuck. If this song sucks, I'm going to say fuck it and put on Borknagar's Origin, those motherfuckers know how to make an acoustic album.

Now that is busting some balls! Hard choice! >_>

I don't think so, both bands have really talented musicians but Borknagar has two really amazing vocalists, Lazare and Vintersorg. And while I only like that Opeth guy's voice sometimes, I still think he's not that great of a singer, I have yet to hear him hit any really fast paced, high, clean vocals... it's always been that slow shit.

Opeth is the band that introduced me not only to metal, but also to "good" music. And god knows how hard it was for me to listen to an entire song when I first discovered the band... Now I'm very thankful, Opeth is a wonderful band, one of the best.

I don't feel the same, but I won't debate it. It takes a lot to impress me, and I don't feel that their overall body of work is that great. I will admit they have some great songs, Closure, Black Rose Immortal, The Drapery Falls, Blackwater Park, Reverie/Harlequin Forest... but a lot of their songs are fucking insanely boring and slow to me, and I'm not always in the mood for slow music like that, and when I am, there's a lot of other bands I would prefer to listen to over them. Highlights of Opeth to me are the growling, the instrumentals and the soft singing SOMETIME... but when it's overused on a 10 minute song it's fucking boring. Everyone I know always cums their pants over Opeth and I have just never been that big of a fan. I don't consider them all that original, innovative or amazing.
