We had a similar thread a while ago and it was something of a success, so how about we relaunch it?
This time, recommend to the masses TWO CDs which you think rule a great deal. Not necessarily new ones, not necessarily classics which everyone should own, but CDs which you think not enough people have heard. Mine are:
Geoff Tate - his solo album. Excellent, non-Queensrychey, not-really-metal-at-all stuff.
Fates Warning, "Still Life" - a great live album from the A Pleasant Shade of Gray tour. Two discs with great songs like The Ivory Gate of Dreams, The Eleventh Hour, Point of View, Monument, We Only Say Goodbye (awesome song!!) and APSOG in its entirety on disc one. Great stuff.
