This is not about who knows which bands and why; no, it's a simple list of recoms, and fortunately some dudes here caught on.

And it's not true that everyone knows the bands I listed: My Mum don't, my cat don't, betcha W doesnt know Scar Symmetry, and probably Sarah P doesnt know any of these bands, in fact she hardly knows where Iraq is.

Do you know of any bands that sound similar to Nevermore?

As I mentioned in another thread, the band that for me comes closest to Nevermore, and has evoked similar passions in me, is Alice In Chains.

But else: No, Nevermore are truly unique, and I simply can't get where that very special mood comes from that they have.

Maybe if one backtracked the guys thru Sanctuary and even further back, one could get some notion of where their genius come from, but particularly Warrel seems completely beyond my comprehension, kinda like Gandhi, Shakespeare, Wagner, Hegel, people of that caliber
