Seriously Danish Nicky, this topic has been discussed ad nauseum over the course of about 7 years or so at least. That was your first mistake.

Your second mistake was listing a bunch of bands that not only were mentioned in the previous threads but are also some pretty shitty comparisons. What the hell does Dream Theater have to do with Nevermore? The word "progressive" may pop up by unimaginative dolts when speaking about Nevermore, but seriously, they're not that similar. AIC is a great band and I love them but just because they're both from Seattle doesn't mean they're similar.

The Iced Earth argument is laughable at best because guess what? Loomis knows how to play triplets as well.

Scar Symmetry bores me and a few others I believe.

Wanna post something about Nevermore that's interesting and will get good responses? Stay away from broad, generalized questions that you can find in just about any sticky or FAQ on every single forum mentioning Nevermore. Examples of such tired questions:

Nevermore vs. Iced Earth (I don't even know why they're compared...it's baffling the way the brain of idiots works.)
What do you think of X song/album/member of Nevermore?
When is Nevermore coming to my city?
Bands like Nevermore??

I think you get the picture. You have to realize that you're posting stuff we posted about 5 years ago, and that most people on this board listen to such particular music that many suggestions like Scar Symmetry may seem mainstream to us and well known.

if you guys like nevermore, i think you'd like killswitch engage. they're a dark, moody, heavy, brutal, brooding metal band that have a lot of similarities to nevermore and they're really underground and no one's ever heard of them before. they're so metal.
