Recording Crappy Bands

Good points all around. My own personal situation is that I'm trying to get bands through the door to pay-off/buy better gear and get experience.
I've tried to give all the bands a fair deal and generally spend a hell of a lot more time on the projects than I should - without charging the bands more - and that reason is to ensure that anything with my name on it, is done to the best of my ability at that time.
Which should hopefully get my name about and get me more work and experience.
