Red Baron/Blue Max

I wasn't exactly overawed by Horror Show....much prefer SWTWC. They're the only two IE albums I have actually, so I'm just a cockhead who shouldn't really comment on matters IE.

5 for Dracula? FIVE? I dont like that Blitzy, I dont like that at all... You think Hollow Man is better than Dracula. THATS JUST SILLY! Oh well, cant please all of the people all of the time I guess...

I dont think Devil To Pay is as good as the other 2 songs, maybe a 7.5

I think the speaking bit should have been cut in Damien, though sometimes I think it sounds cool, I cant decide, the song is overly long though.

Also, I wish he had finished TPOG, the story doesnt flow properly, its like he cut a chunk of it and just jammed the parts together (which he did do, but anyway...) Awesome song anyway.

Well other than their earlier stuff being faster and having less ballads, theres not much difference so you can comment :)

Hollow Man and Dracula are both pretty mediocre, but I probably like Hollow Man a touch more.

The Devil To Pay isn't as good as the other 2, but it is still awesome and still classic material. That is why I didn't give it 10. Could probably have bumped it down to a 9 or MAYBE 8.5, but it is still classic material.

I would have liked to hear the full Phantom Opera Ghost as well, but I still love it the way it is. Making it overly epic may ruin it.

Winnie, I probably like SWTWC more than HS as well. HS is consistent, but both SWTWC and TGB have better high points.

Ok maybe I will comment on IE then. :) Has anyone bothered listening through the whole bonus disc from HS, with the interview with JS that goes for approximately 3 weeks?

Hmmm. Now I'm going to have to burn it on a CD so I can listen to it in the car tomorrow. If it makes me fall to sleep bhind the wheel and I die, I'm coming back to haunt all of you bastards.

Same here, its not something you will ever put on again to listen to but it was a good interview.

Matt should have told everyone he wasnt impressed with Jons vocals on the interview cd and that he was going to redo them himself.

Ghost of Freedom - 7.5/10 - good ballad that would be better if it was on TGB instead of Hollow Man.

That is one of the stupidest things you have ever said Blitzy. Why would it be better if it were on TGB. Unless you are talking about Ripper singing instead of Matt? Otherwise, it is still the same song. Just because it is on a different album doesnt make it different.

I still dont have TGB yet. I had it in my hands a few weeks back but decided against it. I havnt heard a single note from it yet.

No, I ment it would fit in better on that album, and it was clear that Jon made a big mistake putting it on Horror Show, and putting Hollow Man on TGB. No, it wouldn't make it a better song, but it would fit in so much better with the other songs around it and wouldn't stick out like an enormous sore thumb like it does on Horror Show. It is awkward on HS, but on TGB it would sit comfortably.

Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't give it a better score if it was on a different album, I was just saying it would fit better on TGB. Being on the wrong album takes away from the quality of the song.

Ahh ok. I read it is you saying it would be a better song if it were on a different album. I didnt realise you were saying it would fit better on a diff album. You mean the way that the songs flow and order of songs and shit like that?

Well 'Ghost of Freedom' has lyrical content that doesn't fit with the whole theme of the rest of the Horror Show album, but actually DOES fit in very well with the theme of The Glorious Burden album, and on the other hand, 'Hollow Man' does not really fit in with the theme of TGB, and would be better suited on HS than 'Ghost Of Freedom' is. They both stand out like donkeys balls where they don't belong, and feel awkward whilst listening to the albums as a whole. They could be better appreciated where they fit better.
