Response to Hetfield on Metallica/Megadeth "supergroup" remarks

"Sorry, the page you were looking for in this blog does not exist". Can't stand Dave Mustaine. Sadly he seems like some sort of spokesperson for metal music.

A Metaldeth project COULD be ok, but it would have to be a focused thrash album, not a gay attempt at pop/world music that had influences from everything or whatever.

Yea, it would definitely turn out to be more old-school thrash, although I can imagine one or two more progressive tracks. I don't know how the hell two groups can work together, but if they can, props to them.

Also, OP, can you give us another link? That one died.

......holy shit, now that I'm thinking about it, a collab between the two would totally kick ass... :kickass:

Dave and James meet again?
Hell yeah!

That would be awesome, but with Metallica's recent efforts with Lou Reed, I hope they haven't lost their inner thrash :s

Great thread,Thank you to all those who posted...., keep them coming : )

He can collaborate with Lou Reed, but not Mustaine? What.

Not that I care, why would I ever wanna listen to what can only be described as a worse Megadeth? I wish Dave would just forget about it.
Hetfield's response is definitely ridiculous though. (Then again, these things tend to get spinned way out of hand, so it's hard to take this whole thing too seriously.)

I don't agree with that article talking about Endgame and 13 being the best of the newest Megadeth. I think The System Has Failed was one of the best albums he ever wrote.
