It's good...very good. I thought I'd get me a modded pedal just to see what all the fuss was about and all the time I was totally expecting it to be a case of "emperors new clothes" i.e. folk think it sounds better because someone with a fancy website says it sounds better - but, it's like a totally different pedal! Cleaner, but with more gain (if that makes sense) loses alot of the squelchiness when used as a boost, controls more responsive and is tons louder and fatter sounding -

It's not like tubescreamer "I think there maybe might possibly be...I'm not sure, I think there is" differenc - like night and day difference,

The mod is so much though. BTW your pedal has more than just a keely on it someone went to town on that thing new led and knobs? Nice shit man.

Basically, if you're not unable to match components to clearly marked PCB holes you can do the mod yourself, and if you're looking to improve it you can e-mail Keeley or PM him at one of the DIY stomp box boards he posts on ( http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/ is my favorite) and he'll be really cool about it if you're not a total prick and you have some vague idea as to what's going on.

If you don't have any vague idea what's going on, just read some posts at that forum and Wikipedia the big words.

Keeley switches out that LED so you can actually tell when it's on and the knobs are basically a matter of finding some old ones, yanking the old ones out, and putting the new ones in. I think he'll do stuff like that too on occasion.
