Rock Medicine...does PPUSA have something like this?

I am prepared in the event of any medical emergency, but there is no official MD on call at the show. I would actually respond to any problem myself until EMS arrived as I have certifications in the following medical areas:

Advanced Critical Life Support
Pediatric Advanced Life Support
Neonatal Advanced Life Support
Trauma Nursing Core Course

Back in Cali in the Bay Area there was a Clinic that was based in the Haight that sent teams out to shows at the Cow Palace and other places. I was at a Van Halen concert on my birthday when i slipped on spilt beer (Imagine that! ;)) and twisted my ankle something fierce. I was carried by 2 cute guys down to the First aid area where there were staffers and techs helping all kinds of people. Mostly alot of kids way messed up on beer or drugs..and a few oh got stuck in some sort of mosh pit down front..Mosh at a Van Halen concert? Apart from the Med Team I think I was the only other sober person there.

Anyways, if I remember correctly the late promoter Bill Graham had set aside funds to keep not only the clinic going but this service that was offered at his shows. Really nice to know there were professionals there to help out medically when needed.
