Ron Paul FTW

Any Republican nominee is probably going to lose, but if they don't, they'll all end up doing the same things, except Ron Paul, but only because he wants it to be the 1890s again. The only advantage Huckabee has over anyone else is he seems like a decent human being, of course that's not enough to make up for his ridiculous positions.

Yeah, very good reason not to vote for someone who can't accept something with mountains of evidence.

I've really got my fingers crossed for Edwards. He's the only one, out of both parties, who seems like a decent human being. The more I hear him speak, the more I like him. I like his latest slogan, "This is an election, not an auction." The slogan references the fact that he's chosen not to accept money from federal lobbyists and PACs.

Zod

The religious right has to lose this election, and I'm very optimistic that they will since the democrats won a few years back.

Seriously Paul isn't that great...

The only thing I truly care about is making sure we keep the religious right out of power and someone who cares/respects science.

I want someone who will fucking make my dollar worth something abroad. No offense, but your seriously too hung up on religion schmiligion. Nobody is taking away your right to "not" believe. But they are fucking up your right to buy cds from European distros. (Whenever you decide to return to this shitehole)

I don't think I'm getting hung up on it at all. Since these people will enforce their views, which have absolutely zero evidence, on me, is absolutely terrible. To elect a person who will help overturn Roe vs Wade, let Intelligent Design be taught in science classes, to make faith based initiatives, and not to respect church state separation is a huge deal. These people are making decisions on a book that does not have any evidence, and they can turn the US into a shit country. These faggots like Jerry Falwell have spread lies about our country, and these topics should not even be brought up in politics. Believe what you want to believe, think what you want to think, but do not enforce your crazy, false beliefs on me! My rights stop once they start to impose on your rights and vice versa.

However, I agree with you Jerry about making our dollar better and strengthening our economy, I think this issue is far too important at the moment to look over. If we glaze over it now, there are implications that can bite us in the ass.

The economy is increasingly becoming an important issue for everyone anyway, so it seems that every campaign is focusing on the issue, which is a good sign.

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- A series of newsletters in the name of GOP presidential hopeful Ron Paul contain several racist remarks -- including one that says order was restored to Los Angeles after the 1992 riots when blacks went "to pick up their welfare checks."

CNN recently obtained the newsletters -- written in the 1990s and one from the late 1980s -- after a report was published about their existence in the New Republic.

None of the newsletters CNN found says who wrote them, but each was published under Paul's name between his stints as a U.S. congressman from Texas.

Paul spokesman Jesse Benton told CNN the material was not written by Paul, and that he finds them "abhorrent." CNN asked the presidential contender for a direct response. He is to appear on CNN's "The Situation Room" Thursday afternoon around 5 p.m. ET.

"I have publicly taken moral responsibility for not paying closer attention to what went out under my name," Paul said in a written statement.

He didn't write them. Though, everything in there is TRUE!

I admired his passion and courage to stick with his beliefs in the face of constant opposition....until last night. He sounded like a loon during last night's debate, droning on with pre-programmed responses rather than sounding like they were spontaneous and from the heart.

They were discussing the Iranian speedboat incident and whether or not the U.S. acted appropriately in taking a passive, rather than agressive response. All the candidates agreed that the passive response was the correct call given the broad view of the situation. When it was Paul's turn he stated that "they were just a few speedboats and everyone's acting like we should turn it into World War III." When the moderator indicated that "everyone agreed the passive action was the correct call" Paul stated "Well...I didn't hear that".

I lost any use I had for him right there.

I'm about to deny your write to post if you keep droning on about a "theory".

Yeah... you're right, It's just a theory of gravity, germ theory, and all those theories that run your computer. They are just a 'theory' they can change tomorrow, easily! I GET IT!

Thanks Jerry :)

You're telling me that some point dexter has proof of an occurrence that took place billions of years ago?!?! We can't even properly trace back our history several thousands of years, let alone several billion.

Do you want to run around in circles again with this topic? Bump the God poll, and leave God (Ron Paul) out of it!
