Room size when recording guitar?

Hey guys,
Long time lurker, first time poster. My question is when recording/re-amping guitars, what size room do you prefer to use? How do you decide what room size room will be appropriate?

The larger the better - clearer low-end, less comb filtering. Important consideration is that it has to be largely dead though, because if it isn't you'll need an array of baffles around the cab and mic to kill mid/high reflections.

+1 to that. Although, I have a smaller room that I have been using lately that is actually quite nice to reamp in. I guess it has to do with the irregular shape though
