The Mistresses did a pretty good job entertaining the crowd. I never quite realized just how bass-driven older Black Sabbath tunes are...

Of course, seeing that I am a big fan of the post-Dio Sabbath - and since the Mistresses only do early Sabbath - I enjoyed the show but kind of felt like the clock had been turned back or something...

Sounds like a good excuse for a piss-up round Dustin's place... and just maybe it can erase the horrendous memories of what kept me away from the show...

Hey Hobbes!

Dustin is going out of town this weekend, and following weekend (Oct 18-19) won't be good for me. I'm thinking possibly the weekend after that (Oct 24-25), but since Dustin will probably be hosting it we should wait for his decision as to what works best for him.

We could watch some footage I took at ProgPower IV as well so you can at least see the KatV guys onstage...

Well if Hobbes can't make it on the 24th, I'm all for rescheduling. Besides, I was kinda hoping to go see a Pink Floyd tribute that night - I hear good things...

I'd suggest Friday the 31st (dun dun dunn), but I'm sure people have Halloween plans. It would be kind of appropriate though, seeing the gals are playing elsewhere that night!
