You know what people, maybe its best that the boys were over looked by Sactuary. As good as Rob Halfords last 3 cd's have been they got no promotion and sold poorly. His latest is a real bomb.

Hello....

I never post here but have been a part of the Anthrax board for years.

As far as Sanctuary goes, I wouldn't say they aren't a good label.

They supported Megadeth on the "World Needs a Hero" CD heavily.

I heard the 1st single from the CD, "Motopsycho" about ten thousand times on the radio when it first came out.

Too bad it was hands down the worst song on that CD.

They put Megadeth all over the cover of several magazines, as well as got them an episode of Behind the Music, as well as released a good live DVD and CD for them.

I must say that they had made a bad decision making Motopsycho the first single from that CD.

I don't necessarliy think it would be bad for Anthrax to go with them, as long as they promoted the band the right way.

I was kind of hoping Anthrax would stick around, as a couple of my other favorite bands are also on Sanctuary (Ministry and COC). I liked what Sanctuary did with COC and Ministry, as they released live albums and videos for both COC and Ministry. Thats something that Warner refused to spend any money on for Ministry. COC's AVD wasn't exactly promoted well or sold very well, but so what, thats for the artists to worry about, not the hardcore fans. At least Sanctuary wasn't breathing down COC's neck the same way Sony was. I'm sure Sanctuary gave them some more freedom and flexibility.

It would have been nice to have seen Anthrax stay on, (and for Prong and Sepultura to sign with Sanctuary as well), but I guess it doesn't matter. Thrax's new CD will do well regardless of what label they are on.

a.) there's nothing wrong with motopsycho.
b.) "when" is simply an awful song. it's much worse than motopsycho. the cd ends at return to hangar for me.

sanctuary could (and did) sell halford's crucible to meijer. it would atleast make anthrax easy to get for anyone who already wanted it. and if fueled says they're good at promoting, then that would be awesome. i don't know why nobody around here likes sanctuary.

Im actually suprised Anthrax hasnt started their own label, sort of like what Testament did years ago. Im SURE they could lock distro for it themselves.
