Savage Vs Blackmore (Video comparison)

I don't normally record videos, but I've read a lot about Engl Savage and Blackmore being the same amps or totally different so I had the chance to borrow the Blackmore and put it against my Savage.

Indeed, they're quite similar... But if I HAD to choose I'd grab a Savage - just seems a tiny bit more lively and less scooped than Blackmore...

That was hilarious Preferring the Savage, just sounds more aggressive with a bit more "bite" than the Blackmore, but they're pretty close!

Damn!

I am not getting similar tones with my savage. And yes i had nailed good tones with the blackmore.
My savage sounds muddy in the mids and treble/precense sounds similar to powerball 2.
Should the depth boost be used or not?
