Saw Iron Maiden live for the 1st time last night

I'm glad you feel that way. Considering their age they have the best package. I'm not saying they're the in every aspect but as a whole, Maiden is the goat.
Maiden songs simply work so well in a live environment it's crazy.

Seen Maiden about a half dozen times, they get better every time I see them, and for a bunch of guys in their 50's that's VERY good going! Really need to get the cash to see them again.

Haha they're actually playing here in Austin tomorrow. Would have gone but I'm broke and the tour that I saw them on they played only old stuff, which won't be the case this time.

My childhood band via my father. Last time I saw them were 2005 in Ullevi, Sweden. But they seem to keep it up and bring one hell of a good show after all these years. Glad you enjoyed them live.

One of the very few sure fire - bang for the buck concerts, Maiden always delivers! I've seen them on almost every tour since "The Beast on the Road" tour of 1982 when they opened for Judas Priest at the New Haven Coliseum (skipped the Blaze years), and they have never failed me.
