say something about what the forumer above you is listening to

Never really was much into APC aside from a few songs like Judith, Hollow and The Outsider. They have some nice songs if you're into the mellower stuff, but I'm more of a Tool fan myself.

Judas Priest, Candlemass, Mercyful Fate = some of my favorite metal from the 80s, and some of the best metal.

NP: Enslaved - Heimvegen - track from new ep

Sorry, skipping quite a bit, but I kind of have to for this. Not even their best track either, just the only one I could find on Youtube.

For the life of me, I cannot place where I've seen literally this exact same video before. It's from some mid 80's metal band though.

Vocals kind of remind me a bit of Nosferatu era James Rivera (well, except for the very out of place and nearly pointless death growls). Musically, I don't know who to compare them to quite yet, but it sounds very good. Would be pretty stellar with a less raw sounding production though. Definitely has some early Maiden influence going on at least and possibly King Diamond (band).

Lemuria and Sirius B were both fantastic album (Lemuria reminds me a lot of their side project Demonoid)
For fans of Opeth (circa Morningrise - Deliverance), Katatonia, Amon Amarth and Dark Tranquility. The clean vocals could use a lot of work though...

I always get in moods for Suffocation - but I've never been a huge fan.

I love this song - the lyrics at the end always make me tear up - so beautiful... ♥

"The water so warm that day
I was counting out the waves
And I followed their short life
As they broke on the shoreline
...I could see you
But I couldn't hear you

You were holding your hat in the breeze
Turning away from me in this moment
You were stolen as black across the sun"

I've never listened to them much ether, I should though... liked it!

I've been on a Queensryche kick this week... this song kinda reminds me of 'Inside 4 Walls" (mentions the word "wall", govt corruption, drugs, "Is this the American Way?", and the of course the sound clips)... very cool! :)

The riffs are alright for most of the song, and I'm definitely a fan of the vocals, but that cheesy fucking synth that's permanently glued to melodeath will forever make me cringe and shy away.

This band is growing on me (and on a lot of people, apparently), this song in particular is damn well written -

Fun fact, the genre is apparently called TURBONEGRO. Classy.

Considering how much I can't stand the band Turbonegro, I figured this wouldn't be any good but it's actually really enjoyable!

This is by far and away the best Dying Fetus album. I love how Kevin Talley plays drums.

^ pretty good. I like them. The riff at 1:41 - 2:00 before it starts changing is a near rip off of Rush - Anthem's "Chorus riff."

Check it out...1:37...it repeats a couple more times in the song.
