You still going to the gym regularly?

I don't go to the gym regularly anymore, I work out at home. It's a pain in the ass to have to drive to the gym every day (especially after class) so I bought a bench last September and use it regularly here at home. Though, I've been slacking for the past couple days because I went out of town and I spent a shit ton of time today cleaning. I'm going to pick back up on it tomorrow and get the routine going again.

I go to the gym every so often to play racketball but my buddy who I play with dislocated his shoulder the last time we played so it'll be a while before we start playing again. I think I'm also going to start running again. My girlfriend and I are going to start running together and shit soon so that'll help boost some stamina.

that show was pretty intense, I didn't really like any of the bands besides Destruction though and the sound went to shit partway through but other than that it was badass. I'm not so sure Slim's is too happy with them after how he was making fun of them having security around the pit and not letting people mosh haha.
 
I can't watch Destruction anymore, it's like they're at every single show or festival here. I think I've seen them about ten times.

I don't think Schmier ever washes that studded leather vest, as I've never seen him play a show without it. I bet it stinks like shit by now.

Kreator is kinda in the same boat, imo. If you see them once you don't have to see them again. Never was a huge fan of German thrash.
 
will probobly miss going to the gym today before class since my dad expects something to be FedEx'd over here and i'll be the only one home to sign for it.

hoping Gold's gym will have some kind of summer membership special thing in a few months. i'm kind of the opposite of steve and like working out at a gym more. i'll be able to swim and walk the dog and stuff at home, but i just like the routine of a work-out at the gym. i can only walk around my neighborhood so many times before i lose focus, whereas i can get on the treadmill or bike with a book and be on there for a half an hour or more. and, though gas money is a bitch, actually getting up and driving to the gym gaurauntees that i'll go there and work out versus lying around at home and thinking "okay, i'll go swim... after this tv show. oh, but i just ate something really fattening so i'll have to wait and hour. damn, i have to do laundry now" etc.

3 times a week, sometimes more, sometimes less, depends on my schedule.

I agree Laura, it's very easy to lose focus when you're walking, and even on the treadmill/ elliptical machine - you get bored very fast and then you're not really
working out properly... If it happens to you, try to do 2-minute sets (2 minutes of intense resistance or jogging, and 2 minutes of low resistance or walking- depends on the machine you're on) so it will require you to be focused and keep changing your paste.
What it also does, is making your muscles work extra hard and burn more fat due to the changing paste. (but only if the hard 2 minutes are really hard!)
Also important: keep increasing the incline!

But at Gold's Gym you can talk to anyone there for tips/ work outs for free, and I think if you first join you get a free hour with a personal trainer!
