been realizing lately that a lot of beer's I have been drinking are actually local beers like Geary's, Allagash, Shipyard, Gritty's. Starting to realize how lucky we are since we have good beer at cheap prices because it's local (well besides Geary's, it's only meh).


EDIT: Also discovered a beer connoisseur pub in the old port with tons of rare imported beers from Europe that I marked down for a later date to go back to when I actually have money lol.

I'm serious. I love blastbeats on slow tempo guitars. Love a nice haunting lead. Love (and this sounds sarcastic but it isn't) generic 4/4 drum beat with slow guitars kind of like Katatonia. Vocals are deep death stuff, which is great. Very raspy very deep. I've always thought Doom Metal should have as little semblance to rock as possible. (I don't like sludge, a lot of Candlemass, even Lamented Souls is Vortex's lamest project to me) but you guys have the metal side of doom metal.

Is there anywhere I can hear the album? Sorry but with my situation I can't even justify an album purchase for Borknagar.
