i dont keep up with south park but i catch episodes every so often... but i'm like that with pretty much everything.

well, south park has changed a bit in that it seems the last few years every episode has at least 1-2 major social commentaries, instead of just unruly silliness. its gotten more 'mature' and 'serious' if these words could be used to describe poop and jew jokes. the social commentaries and 'messages' were always there, they just seem more prevalent and intense now. they did address this a bit on the family guy episode where kyle says something like, "at least family guy isnt all preachy and up its own ass with social messages" so they do still poke fun at themselves as well. most episodes are still excellent enough to call it a great show.

Well I spent 2 weeks in Los Angeles and thought it was the most depressing place I've ever been to. But I'm sure that's probably the worst place on the West Coast to visit.
