using 2 basses is not so wave-breaking that you have to force a new genre, which would actually only be a new name. talking about labelling...

but I've heard of some bands who only compose and exchange musical ideas and write songs via internet-communication but they seemed to be quite professionals....

ur right opi, i think every individual has their own idea about how to class in genre's and the 2 basses would just be unusual as apose to ground breaking.

and i think we all know this talk of a multi-national band will go no further than talk even if some were being serious about it, but hey, we have to talk about something!!!
