Should be cool, goin' to see Rilo Kiley then I have to either bring my mom or aunt along since I don't yet have myself a drivers license but whatever it works for me.

It will be pretty sweet

Nope, there have been multiple attempts to do so but I could never get a ride to any of them and no one in my family wanted to go with me because of the bands being all "RAWR RAWR EAT CHRISTIANS RAWR" to them, but Rilo Kiley is fun and bouncy enough for me to be able to get someone to go with me

I have a shitty low paying job that barely gets me any money and therefore I've not had money for a car for quite some time, but I do have enough for a car right about now depending on if my moms friends dad will take 1000 for the car he is selling now. If I buy that car for about that much I'll have like 200 dollars left over, enough for show tickets, then the rest of my money will go back into being saved up for insurance, phone bill, and monthly WoW payment.

Getting the car will be a good way to get another better job though, so that'll be cool

dude, tell your parents to drop you off and come back at midnight. my dad would usually take me to a show and go to a show of his own (he goes to alot of blues shows).

or try this. since most shows are in larger cities. have them drop you off and they can go have a romantic dinner somewhere nice or somthing...

Hahaha, my mom just didn't want to drive out an hour, drive back home, drive to pick me up, then back home - which I understand. If my aunt comes with me it'll be cool though because she is only like 23 and likes RK type bands

Yeah, they come to Michigan every so often but I figured I should let go of wanting my first concert to be a metal band and just go see a band I like alot whenever they come through.

Not many, I've sort of fallen out with all my friends but Rob, and I've been recently hanging out with these two girls but one of them is a "romantic interest" so eh.

Me and my concert buddy usually go to Dallas via a train and catch a ride back from a friend of ours. This time (Ozzfest) we're taking his car, since he can drive now.

My first concert ever was with Korn/Static-X/Sevendust, back in 03. :\

My first METAL concert ever was in 04, with Opeth/Moonspell/DevilDriver. Good times.

...but as for transportation... nothing is more trustworthy (and expensive) than a taxi.

I say you have balls for bringing a parent/relative along. I've missed shows just because I had to choose between bringing a parent with me in order to go, or not going at all.

I must say that W&W is a bastard for getting me into Rilo Kiley but I love him all the same
