Shadows Fall anyone?

I'm seeing them on April 1st at the same place I saw Symphony X back in December, does anyone like them? I think their music is refreshing: kick ass metal, melodic, not overly technical, and kick ass guitar solos. God Forbid is also on the bill, so it should be fun. I'm pretty excited to say the least

I like em, if it wasnt for the metalcore vocalist they could be a really great band. And they do have some pretty cool solos

Yeah they do have their metalcore tendencies but they're more Gothenburg-esque I think, which is what I love. The show should be fun.

I think these guys have some cool tunes. I haven't been really into them for a long time, maybe because of that 'metalcore' you speak of...but I do remember them having some killer stuff.

Yes, Shadows Fall is a very kick-ass band. As soon as I can find the CD in my room, it'll be back in heavy rotation.

I wish their singer was better, though. Weak singing voice, and the guitarists have to growl for him.
