I'm so old school that I'm still practising the pen and paper version, which I first did way back in 1988. Since I only listen to entire albums/EPs (mostly CDs, but also some tapes onto which I have transferred my vinyl albums), the numbers in the following list indicate the number of spins the entire albums got from me! So this is what the Top 20 of my most-played albums/EPs in 2017 looks like:

The albums from no. 6 to 13 are those I laternately listen to in my car, which also explains why several got the same number of spins. If I had excluded EPs (Watchtower and Gåte), Drifter's "Realtiy Turns To Dust" would have shown up at no. 19 with 21 spins and Disc 1 of Fates Warning's "Awaken the Guardian Live" at no. 20 with 19 spins.
