Getting this old thread out of the gutter, I wanted to ask if anyone received their shirts bought through katatonia.com / paypal.
This is my story.
I had ordered and paid a VE shirt on 8 september. Later that day I regretted my choice and e-mailed Anders that I had rather had a TD shirt. But no reply came.
Then I waited 3 and a half weeks for any shirt at all, because I know how slow snailmail is sometimes - not to mention how abundant bureaucracy is these days.
I sent out another mail to ask whether Anders had died on the other side of the internet and if he wanted to hurry up with that damn shirt - again, no e-mails from him - and now it's 15 october.
Some days ago I sent Anders an e-mail concluding that it's like talking to a fucking chair (like on the back of the TD shirt) and complaint I cannot claim my money back through pay-pal because of my bloody patience. According to paypal I should have claimed it within a month. Should have claimed it back then, instead of sending that first e-mail in the first place! So I asked for a mail tracking code, perhaps the package was lost on a post office. As of yet, still no word.
Were this a real tangible world, I would have named Anders a thief.
Oh dang, this *is* the real world!
(Meaning the fact that transactions use Internet as a medium should make no difference)
And for some reason that back of the VE shirt keeps popping back in my head... ironically that there is some idea behind it like "fuck wealth and greed", but at the same time one of them that exert this opinion can't take the time to answer me?
I think I rather have my money back than support this paradoxal, hypocritical issue. I'm not going so far as to call anyone a thief here (actually I did, but using it in a analogy), as there is probably a logical reason or an acceptable lie that will in the end blame only me, such as broken e-mail servers or the fact I should have understand famous artist cannot waste their time charging out small orders or reading nonsense mail like a claim on only a puny tiny piece of merchandise. Or even have time to write "Too bad, I don't feel like checking this out".
But I do want some explanation, so that I can re-enjoy my Katatonia collection. Right now I don't feel right listening it.

Wow man, I almost considered getting that same longsleeve off their website. Now I'm glad I didn't. I definitely sympathize with you, but I am sure that Anders cares about ALL the fans and he will respond to your query, hopefully here if not in your e-mail. He just seems to have too much integrity to ignore a simple issue like that

Things have finally come to a peaceful end.
Apparently they were out of stock of certain items.
Dunno about the details though, but glad the mystery has been solved.

I have some relations with Anders nowadays (no money ones for tell the true) but I can confirm that hes are really lazy ass when time to reply on e-mails.. I dont care too much cos my wife always leaves her e-mails w/o answers till "second coming". She hate computer and try to stay as far as possible from "this fucking box" and answers only if "that become too late"...
