why would someone write off the cost of airline tix which presumably would be much more expensive than $38 then not go at all?? Why not go since you've all ready spent the money? I know I know, dead horse, dead horse.

Have you listened to Enchant? I was quite disappointed when they were announced (having never heard of them) but after checking them out, they're a damn fine prog metal band. But, to each his own. I'd rather VP, but what can you do?
Anyways, that aside, Vanden Plas not being able to attend really never surprised me, nor should it have anyone who knows anything about the festival. After last year's fiasco I knew full well that to expect as a ticket holder.
