I will need to buy a pair of good overhead mics for studio use only. My budget is 200€-300€. My first choice is Oktava's MK012-01 because they sound really good, they're great for the price and I already have one. Plus they can be Jolly modded later which is cool. But I always look for advices and opinions.

My other options are: Sontronics STC-15, MXL 603SPR and Shure PG81.

Shure Beta181. I sold my Oktava for Rode NT5 back in the day. I sold those not too long after.

Yet another + for the MK012s. Even now and then I go through through phases where I use something else. After awhile, I always seem to go, "Mmmm, something's not working anymore." Going back to the Oktavas is always nice.

Hell, even the cheap Chinese knock-offs Guitar Center sold years ago sound good (have pairs of both).
