I'm really close on deciding to get this my mic.
My vocal results need improvement and I just need a new source to be honest.
Hows the hardware? Durable enough for use by hand over a couple years?
I've heard it in mixes and loved the results. Just want some personal reviews of it.

Recently tried one out for a song with a solo610. It's a nice mic but I don't think it lives up to the hype that it gets here.

with a shure sm57 and post eq, you can get the same results... or not? what do you think?

I absolutely love the mic - my only complaint initially was that it was a bit TOO smooth/dark, but that was solved by removing the foam filter and tracking with a pop filter and/or using the presence boost. Presence boost while reamping with it = sex.

agreed, removing the pop shield and using a standard pop filter opens it up loads, however, i tend to leave the presence boost flat, and just have the HP filter on... as with everything, it depends on the source!
