Hey dudes. Just released this!

Fender J-bass sampled by myself for metal, processed by Ryan Harvey (of Catharsis), Seth Munson and David Voll. Kontakt 4 instrument.

If you want Nigel-esque tone and don't want to buy a UAD card, Seth's ZomBass tones are processed with Nigel.

Sounds like:

I'm interested in buying it. do you have some screenshots of the GUI ? i want to see what is tweakable.

+1 for everything asked about so far.

Screenshots.
Demo kontakt player (if NO, I'll still buy it if it comes with wavs).
How many samples of each note.
How low does it go.

Also, congrats and a huge THANK YOU to everyone involved in this. :)

Here's a test showing an A/B with the bass on a project I tracked today. It's not the most metal shit ever, but it's still pretty brutal. :)

10 samples per note, I recorded the natural decay until the bass was like -60 dbfs (pretty much inaudible) then cut it off. So around 20 seconds I guess.

And no it doesn't come with a Kontakt player. I'm not sure you can get a Kontakt Player that isn't time limited anymore.

Thanks a lot man, yeah I used Seth's clean. I like the clip you posted, I record worship music for my church so i'm trying to get it to sit well in the mix but the D.I attack still feels a bit hard for that style. It sounded great though in your clip. This things a real life savor, I was using Trillion but that things a CPU hog, and even in lite mode it didn't feel right, I moved from there to pitch shifting my guitar which did the job but not a good one, this Thing is to the point not complicated, it's literally just what I needed thanks again Man

You could try turning the attack knob up to about 10 ms to soften the attack a lot, that's what I did in this lighter track I'm working on:

If you click the wrench icon when you load up a ZomBass .NKI, scroll to the bottom and look for the "attack" knob.

so i have kontakt 3 because of slate. is this compatible? and if not, am i reading it correctly that my kontakt 3 is time limited?

Nah it was made in Kontakt 4 so it won't work in Kontakt 3 at all. You can DL the free Kontakt 5 player and have a 15 minute demo time limit per session, but you could always just render ZomBass out to a track to avoid that. Just do the bass programming with a different synth.
