C'mon dude - you wouldn't want to poke around to see how slate would process the SD2 kits? You've gotta know his presets will totally sound amazing.

I think the SD2.0 kits already sound great, without any trickery. Any reasonable knowledge of drum processing should lead to great results.

Having said that, I was just stirring before. If you guys want these presets, I hope you get your hands on them.

I went and stood by the Slate table for a couple minutes watching the new mastering software. But the other guy I was with has zero interest in recording so we left. It looked really cool but I'd like to see these presets, guess I'll have to go back.

from the samples on toontrack site it seems he's getting a lot more low end from the kick, how can he do this? to me the weakest point about SD 2.0 is really the kick, fortunately there's the allaire kit which is far better
