The Most Authentic Analog Tube Modeled DSP

The VCC RC TUBE model brings the sound of a 1950's all tube broadcast mixing console into your Digital Audio Workstation. Using both a channel plugin and mixbuss plugin, the RC TUBE will add true, nonlinear, dynamic analog artifacts that will make your mixes warmer, fatter, deeper, and richer sounding.

Furthermore, the RC-TUBE Mixbuss plugin can be used in the mastering stage as a stereo mix processor when you want to add life and "vibe" to the mix.

Unlike many "tube plugins", the RC-TUBE uses 100% dynamic nonlinear algorithms designed by master DSP engineer Fabrice Gabriel to reproduce every subtle nuance of a vintage tube circuit.

Sweet - won't ever use it, but glad they're giving the users some new stuff to play with.

I've yet to install VCC (soon), but would love an SSL 9k or AWS model. It shouldn't be too difficult (said the layman) to model compared to some of the older ones, with much more apparent saturation. It's basically just a more glued version of ITB, which I think many here would find exceptionally useful.

As far as I remember they had an SSL 9K model in the beta version and decided to rework and integrate it at an later time.

Running smoothly over here. Haven't tested it really, though, bc I'm in the middle of a project using the Trident, Neve, and SSL, and don't want to change things up now, as I've mixed through it all.

I hope for an SSL 9k and an EMI board.

Buggy again... I putted it on the master buss after a 4K, and it sounded really great, adding great vibe on the low and high mid and a kind of hi-end gloss.
I feel it'll be my fav for bass and master buss. Better, more open than the API.

But... it mute the audio when I open a vcc channel on my bass track. It worked at first, but shut off after a minute tweaking it...
It's on PT 9.05 with latest ilok2 driver and I trashed the settings file before installing the update...
So go back to the previous one, and waiting another month to get the non beta update...for protools a least...

Fooled around a bit with it yesterdaynight, and it was pretty interesting. It's definitely very different from the other consoles, which is great. The more options, the better.
What I liked very much about this one is that, when pushed hard, it gives a pretty obvious, but pleasant harmonic distortion. I think this could be great for giving clean guitars a bit of an edge, or synth strings for that matter. I'm not sure if that is what it was designed for, but I liked it.
I think I'm going to stick to the SSL for the masterbus though. I really like what it does to the low depth, and the other consoles don't do that for me.

Can't really comment on stability yet, since I've only used it for an hour or so in Reaper x64. No issues so far though.

Very nice surprise that this was a free addition btw! Makes it even more worth the money I spent on it.

Just got this

Dear VCC Customer,

Yesterday, you should have received an email about the new VCC 1.5 update
with the new RC TUBE console emulation.

After reading a few tech support tickets regarding some specific issues, we

decided to temporarily remove the 1.5 version from the users MY ACCOUNT
area,
so that we can be assured that all available plugin builds are 100% stable.
The
1.3.5 version is still available in the MY ACCOUNT area.

We expect an updated 1.5.1 version to be uploaded VERY soon, and we are
sorry
for the inconvenience.

Cheers,
Steven Slate

Pitty I allready downloaded the version, glad I didnt install it yet

The latest e-mail from Slate says "We are fixing one very odd bug that has been extremely hard to reproduce and is very rare, but we feel its best that we ensure that it is gone 100% before the official 1.5.1 release." I'm not sure exactly what that bug is, but after installing 1.5 and running the tube emulation for about 15 minutes, it started blasting out noise at an incredibly loud volume and I had to throw my headphones off, haha. I'm afraid to run it again until the update is out...
