the real question here is, do any of these hot slutty chick fronted 'metal' bands not totally suck? all the ones ive heard sound like generic garbage trying to cash in on the fact that they have a 'hot but brooding' rock chick out front. maybe im being too cynical because i dont really care for female lead vocals? i really like female backing vocals because they can bring in angelic/sultry/dramatic elements that a male voice cant, but honestly too much chick singing gets a little tedious. i prefer screamy/gritty/venomous vocal styles that most female 'metal' singers arent willing/able to do. Lucia from KMFDM is probably my favorite because she has such versatility from screams and growls to sexy to suggary pop and all the rest in between. seems like a lot of the rest are standard pop singers with more distortion on the guitars.
