Sneap's KRANK Krankenstein soundclip - HELP!

the dead walk by the acacia strain was recorded with a krankenstein for sure...thats the only one i know of...i have a rev myself and i like it a lot

krank seems to be a great company(at least they have been to me) they do a lot to make sure you are happy with your amp. they will do any modification you want for very good prices. their techs are quick to answer questions(even though im sure they get sick of all the kids asking stupid questions about how to make their krankenstein sound like dimebag)
the whole harmony central thing is kind of a joke to me...blown WAY out of proportion. they had some immature employees that made a mistake(and got fired). i wouldn't let some posts on a review site(that i would never use as a resource in the first place) keep me from dealing with a company. it was like 3 years ago its time to get over it and let the amps speak for themselves. some people like them some people don't. the same goes for any other amp. i have had no problems with mine and i know a lot of other krank owners who would say the same.

sorry about the rant..but every forum i read i see "i have heard bad things about krank" but no threads actually mention any bad things...other than the occasional technical problem that could happen to any amp...

what i am trying to say is try a krank(loud...most players who say they sound bad never had a chance to turn them up) and then decide...

i have no endorsement deal with krank. i am just a happy owner. i own several other amps too. i just think people need to realize that krank isnt all that bad. i am sure the other owners on this board could agree.

No worries mate, i wasnt saying anything bad about them its just some people have bad mouthed them in the past....I dont know the reasons tbh. I cant see why, ive never heard a bad thing about their equipment. They all seem very road worthy. I think a lot of people might be like "blah blah blah Krank" because they seem to have really taken over in the metal scene. Some people dont like to see their own amp (mesa or whatevers) nose being pushed out by a new company.

Thats my theory anyway...

i actually cant remember what i used for that clip. I know As I lay Dying was a rev1 and Arch Enemy live was Krankenstein both into Boogie cabs.

Ok. thank you Andy.
Any advice to record Krankenstein + Krank cabs to get real kickass sound?

I can record some clips of my Krankenstein w/Sm57 and post them here for your analyse... Who dares to process it? ;)

Uve got a Krank.....that automatically gets you a kickass sound! LOL :notworthy

When I save samples posted here, I change the filename to include amp and cab and mic if possible. My RTA.mp3 file is saved as "Krankenstein into Mesa Cab....mp3". I do recall reading here that it was a 'stein. Might be wrong, but I have a vague memory of reading it somewhere. I think I saved it from the Krank site and later after reading here about it, renamed it. Pretty sure its 'stein into Mesa, and not Krank cab.

damageplan was a warhead thru a 1x12 cab or sumthin wierd.

but yeh, went on that wondertone site to find that there's a german acoustic guitar company called 'CUNTZ'. Awesome.

I'm recording my Krankenstein tracks tomorrow so will try and post some sounds soon
