Holy crap! I just watched that movie for the first time in decades and it was the same for me. It did not age well! But it's a good window into the 80's when everything wasn't hip hop.

We will occasionally throw 80's and 90's references at the kids and they will ask where they come from. My wife spent way too long talking about Bill and Ted. We sort of did the same with Ghostbusters, although we still like GB even if the kids don't
