I got a copy of The Wretched Spawn today (no beeps). After one listen, it is very awesome. Thumbs up from me!
I didn't even bother listening to the tracks with beeps, but there are three 'complete' songs on the promo. I have to say, I'm very impressed. This is the first CC I've ever heard, and it is radically different to what I expected. It is much tighter than I thought, the guitar solos (at least on Cyanide Assassin) are excellent, and they use tempo changes galore. There is nothing worse than an album full of songs, all at the same tempo throughout - which is the absolute crudfest that melodic death metal has become for example.bloodfiredeath said:I got a copy of The Wretched Spawn today (no beeps). Heh, if this was pleasantly surprising to you, you're gonna be mad you've missed out on the Corpse for so long.JayKeeley said:and they use tempo changes galore.
Should I still start at Vile or The Bleeding then?NAD said:Heh, if this was pleasantly surprising to you, you're gonna be mad you've missed out on the Corpse for so long.

No no, I mean I just bought it. Don't worry about making a CD-R (but thanks)!NAD said:Okay then, Vile is on its way, in a custom handmade CD case and everything (read: folded up notebook paper ).
