So on top of the the new KSE I also bought.

Loren Littlejohn

Lover of all boobage.
Korn - Evolution.

I know, the record is not all that great...

But I got a special edition with the making of this album, and I'm watching Bozzio play his massive kit for the album right now. :kickass:

I had no idea these drum types actually dragged in their entire mammoth kit to the studio.

That CD came out quite a while ago... And i think it's actually called "Untitled" and has the single for Evolution on it.

Bozzio was frickin sick, the DVD is fun to watch, but the album was rather lifeless to me... bummed me out... i actually had a liking towards See You On The Other Side too (which is rare)

here's my haul from yesterday.... 9 CDs... a big day even for me

CDhaul.jpg

Suicide Silence "No Time To Bleed" *Maximum Bloodshed Edition*, Dream Theater "Black Clouds & Silver Linings" Special Edition, Goatwhore "Carving Out The Eyes Of God" Digipak, Voivod "Infini" Digipak, Big Business "Mind The Drift" Digipak, Darkest Hour "The Eternal Return", The Mars Volta "Octahedron", Steve Jablonsky "Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen, The Score"

How often do you buy CD's james, just out of interest, and in what quantities on average?
You've made it clear how much you believe in buying CD's, and you're a huge music fan of course, so the questions been nagging away at me for a while.

usually around 6 to 12 per month, which is lot by most anyone's standards... that's new or recent releases only, since i'm not counting the used stuff i buy... so 9 new releases in one week is exceptional even for me.

so, your post begs the question.... why's it been "nagging away" at you?

i dont particularly know
i was just curious as to how many cd's you bought a month considering how pro-music buying you are. figured it must get fairly expensive

hint... as recording engineers, producers, etc., most music purchases can be written off as "research" on your taxes. anyway, "expensive" is relative. i make a decent living from signed bands and their labels.... i put only a fraction of that back into the sysytem... it's the right thing to do. but no dodo... i'm not all talk.

James,

hows the new vOLTA?

I loved Deloused and Francis and couldn't stand there last two. This one is supposed to emphasize "songs" so I am wondering if it's a solid release ( I used to love them so I hope it's great!)

OT, but:

GuitarGodGT, my roommates had a very nice poster of your Avatar - Michelle. The other day it fell down and the cats pissed and shit on it.

What a shame... poor Michelle... she was one hot guitar.

/OT

I still am cranking the new Suicide Silence!
