So why didn't I ever hear Summon before now.

I recently got ahold of Summon 'Baptized by Fire'. This is some great, blistering black metal. I suppose everybody already knew this. What other albums of theirs should I look for?

actually it's funny you mention those guys. back in 1998 i used to live with one of the guitar players in the band in Michigan(who has since been kicked out of whatever) his name is mark but if i remember correctly he went by the name of ummm Akhakharu or something. i also think he performed on Baptized... since around the time they had put that album to a self-financed CD i believe. whether or not they rerecorded it i don't know.

heh, I didn't think they were bad, but definitely not top-notch. I had the promo of on of their albums, but don't remember the name

I'm thinking of going to see Summon this Friday. A couple of good local bands (well... Summon are local too) Nocturnal Fear and Mutilated are opening for them.
