Solos in Skyfire's music

I think people are unhappy about Metallica's lack of solos because there isn't really a whole lot of Hammett-presence on the CDs otherwise. It's been almost a trademark of Metallica that they have superfast blues-influenced solos.

Skyfire never has had solos. Their trademark sound is without them..it'd be cool to see what they could do but I think I will enjoy whatever they come up with.

Solos that aren't unique, memorable, spectacular...or that don't work with songs perfectly, (IE, 90% of solos) are nothing more than lame musical cliches.

IE, a movie with the lines A-'But I don't trust him' / B-'I don't trust anybody'.

A song with a non-memorable solo.

The same.

Solos with lots of harmonies are very snacktackular. The solo to Omnium Gatherum's The Perfumed Garden is a perfect example, a masterpiece solo if I did ever hear one.
