The Krankenstein+ is a very unique amp, it doesn't work for every guitarist or every sound, but it's got a very unique midrange that no other amp has.
somewhat marshally squishyness but "deeper" and more modern....
dunno, it's usually the midrange that makes me use this amp, I'm definitely ont using it often enough though, it deserves more love.

I like the Kranks more and more as time goes by. Like nastier Marshalls yeah. I used to hate them back in the day. This one sounds particularly great and aggressive.

raising that one gives some nice grain/dirt, when I'm playing recording at rather soft volumes that boost definitely helps.

tbh I'm just forgetting about that knob, so I don't consider turning that one as well when I'm setting up the amp...I should try that again, thanks for the reminder

Damn, the more I listen, the more I'm captivated by this amp. I think it's my favorite out of the recent clips you posted. The low-end sounds huge, the high-end has just the right amount of agression and the mids are right where they should be.
