Some mixing practice for you guys - Commercial Heavy Rock

Erik Monsonis, you did good mix on my opinion!
Solid, but at the same time soft sounding drums. Loved them. :)
Try to automate verse vocals volume to make some contrast between soft and elevated parts.

Here's the mix from me too:

What do you think about these vox guys? Any opinions appreciated1

Here's my attempt guys, feel free to rip the shit out of it, since it was mixed on shitty phillips hifi speakers since I still haven't gotten a pair of D5s

Wow, I really loved this track. I'm thinking I'd love to mix this style of music, I'm tired of the heavier end...

Great stuff!:hotjump:

great mix. What did you do on the vocals during the quiet parts?

Gendo, some tips on your mix:
- Try to make kick lower and full sounding. Now it has some freqs around punch range but really few around sub and high ranges.
- Try to make snare not so clicky. It needs more body, sustain.
- More bass.
- Clean guitars of mud and make them brighter.
Just IMO.

Nuno Filipe, thanx dude!
I used TSE B.O.D. on the bass di and Poulin LeGion on the parralel distorted track.

Nolly, may I ask you to share guitar dis for this track, please?
Maybe just a piece of them. I'm interested of trying to prepare them at least remotely similar to your reamp version. :)
