someone here said nick drake was great!

Five leaves left is nick drake at one of his finest moments I would say. IF pink moon is with only he, his mellow voice and his melancholic guitar, in FLL you have that with a band backing him up.

My best of Drake would be:

Time of No Reply (with time of no reply, clothes of sand and I was made to l*ve no one you can’t go wrong)

Five Leaves Left (the thoughts of mary jane, day is done (which was covered by Norah Jones, the cover isn’t that good I’m afraid).

Pink Moon with place to be, and things behind the sun

Bryter Later… the instrumentals are very beautiful and melancholic in my opinion.

I did that thread, youre welcome. Pink Moon is still by far my favorite album by Nick Drake, because its just bare emotion.

Indeed, Nick Drake is good. I've been meaning to pick up something of his for a while.

Does anyone here know about Eric Roche ? I picked up a song called "Spin", and im listening to it at least 20 times a day. So amazing.. Too bad i cant find any mp3's

I feel kinda sick to bump this thread up again, but all those who like Drake HAVE to check out Bert Jansch, preferrably his latest release "edge of a dream"...
