Its always a PITA not having a car down there. I typically just jump out to Vortex, or eat around the venue (yeah, the massive selction around the venue)

Ahh, I'd forgotten about that one. Wasn't sure if they were still there.
With Dragon*Con coming up, I've got to think about places to eat within walking distance of the downtown hotel district, too.

There's actually a lot of places just north on Peachtree from the venue, ranging from that pizza place run by the New York pizza-nazi to Wendy's to Mellow Mushroom. They're a bit of a walk but not too far, especially from the Super 8. MARTA's bus #110, "the Peach," runs up and down Peachtree with frequent service if you don't want to walk...even on Sunday.
