Hey Everybody,
I have to let everyone know that, due to a glitch with my webmaster's computer system, we are going to be delayed getting this contest off to a reasonable start.
I've also got a lot on my plate at the moment; we're tracking final overdubs(keys,percussion,random edits) for The EssenEss Project, and consulting with an engineer buddy of ours regarding the mix this week as well. Oh man! Steve and I never knew it would be so much work doing this on our own!But, ah, the things I have learned! And truth be told, here's the double-edged sword to this one, if I weren't in renal failure, this would not be as far as it is right now, as I would have just wrapped up a year of touring with Nevermore; at the same time, due to the illness,it's caused more delays than I would have liked as well! Non-dialysis days I have all the energy in the world, and can get a lot done, and dialysis days, all I feel I can do is rest, and next to nothing gets done on those days, though I do try! Frustrating, but we're nearing the end finally, so get ready! I can't wait for everyone to hear this album!
In regards to the contest, I fully plan on having this launch this week, one way or another, and we'll get back in the swing, with one twist; I am going to be very busy in this time, so I am going to give all entrants a little more time than usual to get their entries in to me, and have also decided that we will limit the amount of entries. More on this very soon, stay tuned!
