i read that several times, but when i owned left 4 dead for a few weeks, i created the steam community profile and set "german" in the profile (not the language of steam, that doesnt matter) and after doing so, Left 4 Dead was censored.
Believe it or not
I changed it again, then deleted a few lines in the registry and now it's uncut again. I also selected "benelux" as the download server..
I actually don't know what really changed the "cut - not cut" but now all games are uncut again.
(Currently playing Battlefield 2, pretty cool game)

Mine is the UK-import version. I also ordered the orange box from the UK yesterday, i'm SO looking forward to play TF2 again.

Do you know HL2 Episode I and II ?

if you have the import version you got an uk key = uncut, there shoudn't be a reason to change anything else (for that game)
