I basically downloaded it, and then plugged my bass in the mic in, changed the set up to ASIO or sth like that, the status is running, i get that interface with loads of amps that i can choose from.. there is that thing in the header, when i hit one of the strings, there are some stuff that change, just like charts (sorry for the poor explanation, i lack vocabs here )
dude, don't plug directly into the computer mic, that will kill your sound card. you gotta have a audio interface. Most likely the sound doesn't come out, because your sound card doesn't support asio or something.

the problem in plug in a bass into the sound card computer is because the sound card is expecting to receive a very small amount of watts, that comes from a microphone, something like milliwatts actually, and the bass produces something much more than that, and it may kill your sound card
