I dont know what to think about immigrants in Europe.On one hand I can understand immigration due to economic reasons or better education but on the other hand I cannot understand all that criminal,mafias and things like that

should've been in a reasonable quantity and much more planned. we should've spent more money per individual to make sure they all learned the language and culture + gotten them to fill holes in terms of jobs that needed more personnel.

well, europe is not just rainbows and stuff anyways, saying that would be naive... why the hell most inmigrants make so many troubles? I think is because (at least in sweden) they don't know how to do things in any other way... sad truth.

cultural differences are in many cases to big to make it worthwhile I think. open door immigrations is bound to fail.

This whole thing is just bizarre. I simply do NOT understand anyone fleeing their country and then wreaking havoc on the place they move to because they don't agree with its culture. Completely asinine.

There don't seem to be too many problems with this in Canada, at least not with Mid-eastern people. They seem to settle in pretty well here. Native Americans (ha, still called Indians by idiots) cause these problems in some areas of Canada but it rarely escalates to such an extreme, and they certainly have more right to be pissed since we did kind of pwn them.

Even in that case though it's getting to be a bit much, Natives were given massive massive tax breaks, given free housing and all that money went in the pockets of a handful of the Natives, while the rest got nothing. And it's white people that are greedy they say as they keep all that money from their own brethren. They own half teh god damn Casinos tax free for fuck sakes.

@ BSOG I dont know,just like Stefan said maybe they should put more money for immigrants to learn smth about Swedish culture cause i guess it can be hard to understand completely different culture,like that Paki who killed his daughter cause she was dating a german guy and he thought its a embarrasing for the family.In Rome do as the Romans do.

The problem I think is the quantity really. Without the open door thing, with some logic in there it could've gone smoothly.

the amount of refugees was exceeded a long long time ago... as an example, when I was here 4 years ago, there wasn't so many africans but arabs refugees, from palestina and irak mostly... now, there is just so many people from africa here is just ridiculous to think this change happened in 4 years only, at least in my experience.

This may be common knowledge to swedes/europeans, but any idea what even brought the open door immigration around in the first place? It's a relatively new policy isn't it? Did they think other countries needed relief in wake of all the political BS around the world or something?

Edit:Sounds like in 20 years Swedes will be the minority

Well we started having big scale immigration from non european countries in the 70's. Before that we mostly got a lot of finnish people. There's a way bigger sense of logic in Norway, Finland and Denmark though. They're all richer countries now and they still allow far less immigration.

On some point of view Serbia has a lot of refugees but its a bit different cause most of them are from ex Yugoslavia But I allways find funny how most people find immigrants to be richer than any people borned and raised here.
