It throws me off when I watch Swedish movies. A lot of full sentences and sayings are in english, even though there are different words in Swedish to construct the same sentence. Shut the fuck up for example. English saying but used mid-sentence in a Swedish conversation. Maybe I jsut don't understand your language enough, but usually people don't switch languages, they translate it to their dialect.

This is something many swedes, especially youths do. They use Swedish mixed with English because they think it sounds cool...I find it really retardead and it sounds corny as fuck!

but most people in sweden uses english words in everyday speech without even thinking about it we're not like france, translating every word we use into our own language.
