I guess it's one of the things I like most about this country really, we have so many "holidays" (f.e. the former Queen's birthday which is an excuse for 3 days of drinking in a big tent while watching shit bands ) it's ridiculous

I remember loosing myself in Nijmegen on that four days walking thing, then Carnival in Eindhoven and Queensday in Amsterdam are also awesome, I like it there, I think I'm moving there next year...

officially, 4 days of holidays in chile for its independence day, unofficially, a whole week in those days you can literally drink everywhere and everyone is happy and the weather is awesome and bbq 24/7... I hope the chilean people here in stockholm do something to celebrate or I'll be doomed!

Carnaval in my hometown is the beeeest though, better than anywhere else in the country Forgot to mention that actually, it's so bad here some people use carnaval as an excuse to get drunk several days each week for about half a year (starting end of August, then continues till whenever carnaval is, so usually February/March) and then like 2 weeks before and after carnaval.
