Yeah the Velociraptors in Jurassic park are awesome, but those scientists must have been feeding them their wheaties because no raptor ever got close to that size. On the other hand they were probably based more on Deinonychus which was a bigger version of a Velociraptor.

in my experience, ND makes a couple of good to really good songs per album and the rest is a snooze fest, will this album change my mind?

That depends, there is still go to tracks on the album, but there isn't a track that ranks gebelow good on this release imo.The style is slightly different, but it is still very much ND. If a slightly (overall)faster and more aggressive riffs in that ND forumula is something that sounds good to you, I'd be hard pressed not to say yes.
